I’m Hope Kim, a software engineer who builds insight by exploring the best possible paths through challenging missions.

I’m a software engineer at a vertical AI fintech company focused on R&D for financial industry–specific products.

• I’ve developed a BaaS (Banking as a Service) model for an online (p2p) investment linkage platform within the financial domain.
• The platform is supplied to savings bank associations and client banks, facilitating and managing loans worth billions of KRW monthly.

My journey in computing began in 2014. when I first stepped into school.

I loved researching and applying technologies like terminal-based console games and server applications.

After entering a specialized software high school, I began delivering real services at scale:

• I developed an integrated on-campus SaaS platform for boarding schools and led a nationwide expansion project.
• I built a regional job support platform in collaboration with educational government bodies in Korea, attracting an investment of 45 million KRW at age 18.

I’m defining my identity as an engineer who consistently seeks Pareto-optimal results within any given constraints.

Rather than sporadically aiming for a perfect 100-point solution, I focus on sustainably managing software that maintains 80+ quality points through practical trade-offs and control.
